The first step in reading the Legion Encyclopedia is taking a look at the link below. It lists the standard character profile typ, as well as a complete explaination of the numbering system used to give a rough idea of a character's capabilities.
Please note that, sometimes, a character acts either well above or well below his or her listed capabilities. This is due to the fact thatanyone can have an off day, or can push beyond their normal limits on occasion.
